Teaching the Whole Apostolic message of the New and Everlasting Covenant!
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. We believe in its authority to guide us in every facet of our natural and spiritual lives. We believe that God is a Spirit and manifested Himself in the flesh to redeem man from the consequences of sin. We do not believe God is a triad, trinity or tri-unity separate, or co-equal in nature or power. We do believe Him to be one in number, divinity, and character. As the Israelites of old and as scripture clearly teaches, we believe that the Lord our God is one Lord. (Deuteronomy 6:4) The Church of Jesus Christ declared the same doctrine. (Ephesians 4:5-6)
The process of redemption begins with death to the old life of sin through true repentance. True repentance is observable, as John the Baptist noted in Matthew 3:8. There must be fruit or a demonstration of repentance for one to continue the process of redemption and sanctification. The blood that was shed on Calvary is the only atonement for sin. (Hebrews 9:22) Salvation is incomplete without the application of His blood.
After one has died to sin, we are buried with Him in baptism. (Romans 6:3) We believe that the blood of Jesus is applied exclusively in water baptism by submersion in the Name of Jesus Christ as the following Scriptures portray. It was on the Day of Pentecost that the crowd of Jews heard the first message of the Gospel preached by the Apostle Peter. (Acts 2:37-39,41) Water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ is the only Biblical method that God authorized to remit sins. (Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5)
After we are buried with Him in baptism, we receive eternal life through the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 6:4-5) When we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive Jesus. His voice is heard through the recipient. (Acts 2:4) Speaking in tongues is the evidence of new life. (John 3:3,5,7-8)
The commonality of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is what God requires of one, He requires of all. God’s people are not chosen because of race, creed, or color; but by covenant relationship to Him through obedience to His Word. We believe in a life of holiness. (Hebrews 12:14) A person cannot be truly holy without the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. It is through the teaching of the Word that helps us to measure what that entails. We firmly believe in Biblical modesty in dress, attitude, and lifestyle.
We believe that all Bible prophecies including those concerned with the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the Rapture, judgment, and the arrival of the Kingdom of God came to complete fulfillment in the year of AD 70 of the first century as preached by Jesus in Matthew 24, in Mark 13, and in Luke 21. We believe the inspired Word of God takes precedence over all other teachings to the contrary.
The last days, end times, or the end of the world (Age) are all relative terms speaking of God ending His Old Covenant relationship He had with the Nation of Israel, their land, their Holy City, their Temple, and their religion. There are no last days or last day to the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. It is everlasting and eternal. (2 Peter 1:11, 1 John 2:25)
